Goal

A bar that matches reality, including the money we never saw.

Somebody hands you cash at an event, or tips you somewhere else entirely. Credit it as a manual adjustment and the goal on stream is right again — because a progress bar that is quietly wrong is worse than no bar at all.

  • Every adjustment keeps its note, so the total can be explained
  • Past goals are archived, not deleted
  • The subathon ladder can read this goal’s total rather than count its own

Every setting, and what it changes for the tipper

Tip messages go on your stream, so the controls are about what reaches an alert and when. Nothing here is a moderation afterthought — the holds run before a message is ever drawn.

Payments

Set up payouts once, then never open Stripe again.

Stripe verifies you and pays into your bank; we hand you off and hand you back. Payout status, the recent payouts and the disconnect switch all live here, so the only Stripe screen you see is the identity check Stripe legally has to run.

  • Your tip page stays off until payouts are actually set up
  • Countries Stripe cannot pay out to are named, not silently refused
  • Disputes are handled by Stripe and reflected back in your history

Tipping questions

What does it actually cost me?

Stripe’s processing fee and nothing else — 2.9% plus 30¢ per tip on their published rate. We take no percentage on any plan, including the free one, and there is no monthly charge for tipping itself.

Who holds the money?

Stripe does, and it goes to your own Stripe account, not ours. You complete Stripe’s identity check once and they pay into your bank on their own schedule.

Can viewers tip anonymously?

Yes, and they can also sign in with Twitch so the alert shows their real name. You can hold anonymous messages — or verified ones, or both — for approval before anything reaches your stream.

Someone tipped me outside the page. Can the goal still be right?

Yes. Credit it as a manual adjustment with a note, and the bar on stream matches what you have actually been given. A progress bar that is quietly wrong is worse than no bar at all.

What happens on a chargeback?

Stripe handles the dispute, and the tip is marked revoked here. Anything that counted it — your goal, a subathon ladder, a cumulative reward — is walked back, so a reversed payment does not leave progress behind that was never funded.

Is my country supported?

If Stripe Connect can pay out to a bank there, yes — over forty countries today. If it cannot, the page says so by name during setup rather than failing at the end of it.
